What problem are the Mac users having? Frankly, it may be something I noticed. Your hotspots for the links are all over the place.

I'm on a PC using Firefox.
    Some examples:
Adrian Boland: the hotspot is above her name.
Jill Ford: hotspot is only in upper 1/4th of the name.
    J. Warrington: same thing.
Jan Jones: same as Adrian Boland.

I'd suggest using regular text links... but if you're dead set on that font, then make your image map hotspots more accurate.

    Hi
Thanks for taking the time to look, the links of the artists page are all text links already, I've just up loaded a new page, would the fact that I've used an un common font be making any difference?

OK, I just copied your code to my app (dreamweaver) and I do see that they're text links... but I'm not familiar with layers, which I see are being used.

First you need to confirm exactly what the Mac users say the problem is. Besides that's though, I see something odd I've not seen before: Even though you've got "text links", the areas that are clickable are not the text itself. They're layers whose areas do not completely cover the text.

I tried to stretch them to cover the entire text but that pushes some of the other text off the columns... no doubt because I don't do layers on my sites.

See if you can adjust those layers so that the clickable area covers the entire name. I have a feeling that's what people are complaining about.

The problem is all the <layer> tags. These tags are browser specific I believe (Netscape?). So they won't work properly in a lot of broswers. If you want it to display correctly in all browsers. You need to use more standards complient code like <div> or even better - <ol> & <li> (ordered list & list item). I'll try and get a code sample up later for you.

Thank you both that shines some light on the matter for me, I think I can publish that page in a different format, I'll have a go, but why do some links seem lined up correctly?

    Regards
