There's a girl in my school that I like but she has a boyfriend and I've never been in this situation before. So what should I do? Should I give up?:(

You should give up or just be her friend.

I was kind of afraid you'd say that. The thing that really gets me is that they just started dating yesterday and her boyfriend was one of my best friends. He didn't even like her until I told him that I did. He even came up with a bogus lie.

That is not a very good friend, especially to be called one of your best friends.

Yeah I know what you mean. Its just, I've thought about giving up but I cant. I can't get her out of my head. Its driving me absolutely insane! On top of this, she barely even knows him.:(

I'm guessing they won't last long if he is such a con man and that disloyal to his friends.

Be her friend and lie low. Be patient. Be your nicest self. Don't give away any more secrets. Your chance will come soon.

In the meantime, how can I focus on my schoolwork?:confused:

Knowing that this "relationship" won't last should encourage you to be the best you can be. Girls don't like stupid guys who slop through school and don't do homework. They like smart guys who are ambitious and responsible. So take this time to hone your personality and character so you will be ready.

If the smart guy thing is true then she shouldn't be going out with him. He fails everything while on the other hand, not to brag but I'm one of the smartest kids in my school.
