How do you open the case of the Mio GPS C310? There seems to be something loose in the unit's charging port. The problem is not the charging cable. I've tried several. The unit charges only when the cable is held tightly at an exact spot in the port.

I have the same problem too. Anybody have a answer ?

Two small screws come out to remove the bottom plate. Then on the back side you'll see four white rubbery plugs at the corners. Pry them out with a very small screwdriver or pin or anything else sharp and small. They slide right out, not cemented in place. They're covering four more small screws. With them out, the back opens easily to change the battery.

Does the battery still need to be replaced if when you plug it in you still get the orange light? My c310 won't turn on, but the orange light comes on when plugged in.
