In this movie the leading man was partially programmed by another man. The job was interrupted and he was left to search for his purpose,and was drawn to a mountain and at the end he discovered that the one who tried to program him was on a slab in a massive cave and was dying. He saw that there was a whole row of men who had come before his programmer, and was told that they were there to assist mankind in each generation. Have been trying to find the title to this movie.

I'm sorry, I don't know the movie, but it sounds very interesting and I like good Sfi Fi... so I will also be waiting for the answer.

Also, I found a DVD online and ordered it.
