My Younger Sister who is turning 18 in a few months got 2 credit cards with Chase and Capital One. I know that a minor cannot not legally enter a binding contract, what I want to know is will she be held Liable for these charges on the cards. We Live in Massachusetts, if that helps to get a more detailed answser

She can't be legally bound by contract. However, she could be charged with fraud for entering into a contract when underage.

I'm going to add here that if she is trying to get out of paying for what she charged, that is the wrong decision. At the very least, this could ruin her credit for many years to come. At worst, she could wind up with a criminal record.
