I am about to walk out my home in houston Texas I owe backtaxes school etc and has been contacted by lawer and told water will be cut off if I don't pay my real estate taxes etc. if I walk out of my home can my wages be taken for taxes owed on this property since I will be walin out please help me

Walking out of a home doesn't relieve you of your responsibilities towards it.

If the home is sold for back taxes, then you would be relieved of that responsibility.
