    Counting cycle days ?
I feel dumb:o because for the longest time I couldn't understand why my period changed from month to month. Before I had my son it was like clock work. The same day each month. Then recently I come to realized I'm on a 28 day cycle.

My question is this. When I count my 28 days The first day of my cycle is The 1st day. Then I count 28 days. Do I count the 28th day as the first day of my next cycle or is the 29th day the first day of my next cycle. Forgive me if this sounds confusing. I'm trying to keep track of my fertile days and ovulation day.

The first day of my last cyle was Feb.13th. When I count from there the 12th is the 28th day. So is my period suppose to be 12th or 13th

    Thank you!

Remember also that there are different days to each month, some have 30 days while others 31. This would contribute to the numerical difference in your cycle going from the 13th to the 12th in some instances.

IF you kept to a 28 day cycle, March 13 would be the expected day one again.
The day your period starts counts as day one... the previous day would be the 28th day.
