I am replacing a control board in a bryant 395cav heater the old one was missing, perhaps taken by the last resident, anyhow, I got a new ceso110057-02 fixed speed furnace control replacement kit but have no idea which wires connect to which spade plugs on the board, I hope someone can enlighten me soon as it is cold at night this time of year and I cannot afford an hvac service-person after buying this house. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

This instruction sheet should have been in your box shipped with the circuit board. Another sheet showing the wiring should have also been in the box. If the other diagram was not with the circuit board when you bought it then Look on the back of the blower door for the furnace wiring diagram and use that for the wiring along with any suggestions/differences in the below install sheet.

I understand that money could be tight after buying a house BUT please read the warnings contained on the instructions especially since you have no idea of how the board actually is wired in OR how the board is supposed to work. They suggest a professional do the work On Site at your home and that is stated for a reason.Good luck

I would also like to add that you also get your furnace inspected for cracks in the heat exchanger especially around the compression dimple area. This could be the reason the circuit board was not replaced to start with. This model had its fair share of heat exchanger cracks and if yours has one then the furnace is rendered useless unless the heat exchanger is replaced or the furnace repaired. This is just a friendly warning to help safe guard you and your family's health and well being. Cracks in heat exchangers can KILL YOU with CO. A CO detector purchase would also be a good idea to give you a early warning in the future for when it does crack if not cracked already.
