    Any Freudian experts?
I have a personal question to ask, that id rather not ask publicly. If anyone here is a Freudian expert/follower, I believe they would be able to help answer my private question.

If you feel you can help, respond and I will give you my email. Thanks:)

    Hi, ashey23ole!

Since you have started a thread about this and are anonymous here, why not post here what you want to know? You've already started a thread, and soliciting off-site contact is something that's really discouraged here.

Besides that, if you do ask publicly, then you'll likely be able to get the best answers because of more people that will be able then to respond to your question.

    Thanks!

I'm your girl. I studied Freud in a master's in psychology program. Maybe I can answer your questions.

That's good, Wondergirl! I'm glad to find out about that! Another chapter of your book is opening!

    Thanks!

I'm an expert in the psychological aspects of human sexuality, but I don't take private questions.

You are anonymous here, so ask away... or open a new username, and ask away.

I understand its anonymous, however, its very uncomfortable to share where anyone can publicly comment on it. I know its discouraged, but I'm just trying to reach out for some help. Its something I've never shared with anyone, so I don't think id be able to share it on an open forum..

    Id really appreciate the help...

I'm sorry. I'm not allowed to respond to you except on here. There must be a way...

I respect that. But this website is wayyy too strict & rigid.

If you want a private conversation with a specialist, I suggest that you speak to a counselor, psychiatrist, therapist, or some other qualified professional in your area regarding your issue.

While this site may be strict, the rules are there for a reason--in this case, liability may play into it.

Understand that you ARE anonymous on this site--and while people may comment on your situation, they ARE trying to help you with their answers.

    Hi again, ashey23ole!

I would like to point out further, that since this site isn't a chat room where all of the information shared isn't immediately visible unless someone goes to a particular thread due to interest in what's on the thread because of the way that it's titled, that because of the way that this thread is titled, that you'll most likely have only the most qualified people responding.

Please think about that. Freudian? I would think that most people seeing that in the title are going to be thinking "Huh?" rather than, "Hey, I know something about that, and I would like to help!"

    Thanks!

Why come here? We reply to all in sundry about embarrassing situations.

Freud was not necessarily correct anyway, it is/was a theory.

There's nothing on here you would probably say that is more embarrassing that what's been said by other people.
Need a psychoanalytic dream interpretation or something?

I think that this websites help is wonderful, you will probably find some wonderful answers to your dilemna on here and if you find answers that do not assist with your problem, no one is forcing you to read or take offense to anyone else's opinion.

I think that this site is wonderful counsel with many expert opinions shared in a very caring and compassionate way. I think that many opinions always offer better assistance than one.

Hopefully you will feel comfortable to ask, we are not here to judge, just here to help.

    Good luck to you.

No, it is not a dream interpretation. And it isn't something that all people can accurately comment on, its much deeper than that, almost taboo. I know Freud's theory hasn't been proven to be valid but my issue defenitely could be analyzed with his theory..

I can guarantee you that pretty much anything you want explained could not be possibly too taboo for a site that specializes in anonymity. No one really will judge you this forum especially, I think.

Which of your parents are you in love with?
