The remote control light dimmer does not work on our Halsey Ceiling Fan. The speed, reverse and off controls work OK but the fan lights are at full brightness and do not respond to the remote. I have another identical remote which when set to the same frequency, also does not control the lights. The receiver-speed control is a cylindrical, doughnut-shaped, plug-in module that fits in the switch cup of the fan. The fan has no external switches or controls.

The remote control is a model UC-7040, dated 03/94 and supports Halsey models HC, HP and HG. The only number on the control module is the FCC ID.

Can you tell me where I can buy a replacement contol module; otherwise, I buy a new fan.
