    Solving Radical Expressions & Exponents
Question #1: Multiply and Simply. Assume that all expressions under the radical represent nonnegative numbers.

    (radical xy^3) (^5 radical x^4y)

    Question #2:

Add. Simply by collecting like terms, if possible:

    radical 36 + radical 18

    Question #3:

Use laws of exponents to simplify:

    [6.5^5/4] / 6.5 ^2/3]

Please help me come up with the solution. I have been trying to resolve all day. Thank you!

Question #1: Multiply and Simply. Assume that all expressions under the radical represent nonnegative numbers.

    (radical xy^3) (^5 radical x^4y)

Rewrite these as rational powers, then apply the laws of exponents.

    Question #2:

Add. Simply by collecting like terms, if possible:

    radical 36 + radical 18

Break down the radicals first, then see what you can combine.

    Question #3:

Use laws of exponents to simplify:

    [6.5^5/4] / 6.5 ^2/3]

    Just add the exponents

Please help me come up with the solution. I have been trying to resolve all day. Thank you!
