    Leaky condenser unit in GB-142-30
I want to know how many customers have been saddled with a costly repair of a cracked/leaky condenser unit in a GB-142-30 model Buderus furnace. Our unit was installed in Nov/Dec 2006 and recently had to have the condenser trap replaced at a cost of $280.70. It looks like the trap was fabricated out of an inadequate plastic which discolored and became opaque within the short time it was in use.

Im sure your talking about the condencing coil mounted on your furnace and all u need is 3/4 pvc piping and a trap to the drain or a cond. Pump . The pan under the coil should be flushed out with water or coil cleaner and u should'nt have any more problems.

Hey Mikie D this is a High efficiency condensing boiler not a furnace. The poster called it a furnace but it is a boiler if you look up the posted model number.
