What kind of implementation are you thinking of ?
This can be either very easy or extremely complex depending on the setting.
A simple straightforward solution would be the use of Skype.

    Hello,

Is this for business or personal use? If it for business use, you should never use wireless for SIP or VOIP. There is no control over the "quality of service" and that could really mean problems. If it is for home use, VOIP does not require much bandwidth. Standard DSL should be okay.

The router that you choose can make a big difference. Some Linksys routers have an engine built in that directs traffic to make sure VOIP does not get overrun by email or surfing. It is called the "stream engine." That is just one example. Many vendors have similar features. That is a good one to look for though if you plan to run multiple data streams through your network.

    Best of luck

Does your Internet provider offer a VoIP service?

Get a wifi voip phone. In addition with your existing (I supposed) wifi router. I used a Linksys wireless router and a Linksys wifi voip phone on my Onesuite VoIP service and it works perfectly.
