My ceiling has suddenly slowed down. I have tried :-
1) Bypassed speed control and run it directly.
2) Replaced capacitor
3) Done greasing and oiling of bush and bearing.
None has worked it revolves but at slower speed than usual.

Does it spin free by hand, and what voltage is at fan?
Thanks,
Voltage is 220V It moves freely with hand.
I think most things have been covered, unless a direction or speed switch not making a good connection, last thing I can think of would be shorted fan windings.
What make is the fan? What country are you in?
