Non refundable pet fee - does it convey on sale
If rented property is sold, in addition to the deposit, shouldn't a non refundable pet fee be conveyed to the new owner? Or at least a pro rata pet fee? If not what is pet fee for? It isn't specified in lease and states that pet damage is taken from security deposit.

    Thanks,

    Mike

If not stated what it is for , I guess it could be for anything you wanted, I would assume it is for the extra cost of special carpet cleaning required since some people are allergic to animals between renters, and assumed damages.

Since the money is not to be refunded, to the renter it makes no difference, since it is not money they would get back,

It is merely a issue between buyer and seller. This would or should be merely one of the 1000's of issues that is decided in the offer and acceptace of purchase.

So are you the buyer or seller ?
