It's about a high school senior girl getting ready for college and trying to grow up. She has a relationship with a local musician, and gets into his crowd of people. She wears a cow print dress and has red hair. At one point in the movie her musician boyfriend performs a concert on the roof of a barn or something, and they have a "roll in the hay."

At the end I think one of her friends kills herself, or tries to at least. The last scene is the girl driving off to college (Brown, I think) and throwing her cow print dress out of the car. There is a voice over of something about growing up and becoming an adult. If anyone knows this movie please tell me!!

That is really depressing. Why would you want to see that again !
