I do not think there is any medication currently for women with low sex drive.
It could be physical or mental or a combination of both.
I do know that hypothyroidism can lower your libido.
I would discuss this with my Gynecologist, just to be on the safe side.

No, sorry, there is no magic pill. There are some experimental hormone therapies with testosterone and such, but libido is a tricky thing.
Also, if a guy takes Viagra it doesn't make him horny, it just gives him the ability to act on pre-existing lust.

I wish there was something. Is there anything that you are currently on that might be lowering your sex drive?

You need to talk to your gynecologist.

There are sooooo many factors that lower libido that it's not even funny. Some are medical, some are just stress and too much work--it's next to impossible for most women to switch from career woman, to housekeeper, to mommy, to sexy goddess at the snap of the fingers. It takes WORK to make that internal change, and many times working women withkids have issues making that crossover without a lot of help from their partners.

    Start with your gynecologist, though.

Your family doctor should be able to run blood tests to determine your hormone levels and if he thinks it is something he can't handle,I am sure he will refer you.
A gynecologist is a specialist in female issues and would have a wider knowledge base of possible reasons for your problem.

A gynecologist specializes in female reproductive health. Just like a urologist handles those issues for men.
It's just a specialization in training. Your family doc would probably give you a referral for any issues that are out of his/her area of expertise.

You have to have a physical exam preferably by an endocrinologist , or your family physician.

If there is n o physical cause for lack of passion, then seek a therapist... you may have a depression.

    Best wishes, :)
