How can I remove diverter spout?
I have read other answers to this question but have not found out what I might be doing wrong. I have a Moen tub & shower spout with a pull up diverter in the spout. I have removed the allen screw and tried to unscrew the spout. After more than 100 counterclockwise turns the spout is no closer to being removed. What could I be missing?

    Thanks.

Once the Allen Head set Screw's loosened it should pull right off. Good luck, Tom

If there was a set screw under the spout there are no threads to unscrew, it just pulls straight out. Afteryears of use there can be a buildup of crud around the O ring so it may stick.
