    Hampton bay remote control-reverse button
    Just installed the fan. Everything works except the reverse. I shut the fan off and while the blades were turning, pressed the reverse, as per the directions. Any clue?

    What happens when you try to reverse the fan, regardless of whether it is running?

    The fan continues to go in the same direction, regardless.

    Take the fan back and exchange ir. Sounds like a receiver problem.
