Ok, so I have most of my plumbing done based on the layout you guys helped me with, thanks again!!

Now I just have to finish up my vents then I'm ready to tie in the sewage basin. My question is, is it better to have the check valve vertical or horizontal? I'm wondering if it would be more prone to sticking/clogging if vertical.

The way my set up is I have a short vertical run to come up out of the basin then about a 3-4 foot horizontal run, then vertical again to come up and over to dump into my wye on the septic line.

So I have plenty of room to install the check valve, union and ball valve either way, just curious if there is an advantage to one way over the other.

Check valve on sewer ejector should be in vertical position and installed within first 12" from female thread discharge on your pump. Drill 3/8 hole in pipe connecting pump and check valve.

Secure all pipes so they don't shake. If "banging" occurs during discharge, than you can install 2nd check valve someplace above.
