For the past 2 months or so, I noticed a single, red bump on the left side of the shaft located near the base. It has absolutely no pain, discomfort. It sort of seems like a pimple but there is no head from which anything comes out when squeezed. There is no discharge of any kind. Could this be an ingrown hair? Has anyone else experienced this?

Normally these bumps come up from masterbating, but you have been poking it so it is probably red.

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking too. I will lay off the masturbation for a while and see what happens as it did seem to get much smaller and almost gone when I wasn't masturbating as much a few weeks ago.
