I recently hit something with my lawn mower and when I did the steel rod that holds the blade and goes up into the mower got bent pretty bad is this fixable or is there no hope?

It is repairable but it is likely not worth it. You bent the crankshaft which likely ruined your bearing too and also likely cracked the block.
