I would say it is possible, but I need more information before I help. What client are you using for email? Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Webmail. Also who is the provider of the email box? Gmail,AOL,hotmail, etc.

I only have gmail direct. I will have problem to recuperate my old emails if I use gmail direct?

Well if you deleted your emails and deleted them from you deleted items from you gmail direct. By gmail direct I'm guessing its just the gmail webmail interface right. The emails are gone.
