Switching CD player in 1998 Honda Accord
I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX with factory CD player am/fm... I want to put my Kenwood from another car I owned in the Accord... But the Accord has the security system and you just can't go in there cutting wires and if I take out the factory then how do I put my code in to reset?. I know there is a way to do this and wanted to check around before I went to an Audio store and they charge my an arm & leg... Any help is appreciated...

OK, I know I buy a wiring harness and plug it into the factory harness and then match up the other ends wires with the ones on my Kenwood CD player... my question is :does the "preset keypad for entering the code" come out of the car with the factory CD player?. doesn't the whole thing (factory cd and preset pad 1-6 )come out together?. if so then how do I put my code back in to start my car & cd player once installation is complete?. or can I enter the code somehow on my Kenwood that I installed?. thanks for any help...

I think I figured it out, why do I need a code when the factory player has been taken out?. I assume the code is just so if someone steals my factory player they can't use it?. I hope I'm right 'cause I'm taken that sucker out...
