Changing 3 prong dryer cord to 4 prong
I recently moved to a house that has a 4 prong dryer receptacle and my dryer has a 3 prong cord. I bought a 4 prong cord but don't know the order to wire up the new cord. Witch two cords go together? Thanks

    Stratmando

With cord unplugged, remove old cord. Then look at the center terminal and look for a strap that connects to the case. Remove that strap. Connect the red and black to the outer terminals, the white to the center terminal, and the green to the case.
