I am 6 weeks pregnant and I had the most disgusting thing happen yesterday this big mucusy dicharge thing came out when I wiped it was so bad it made me sick... I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and is it normal?! It really freaked me out, I mean there was no blood just mucus... and in put would be great

You can expect some increase in discharge early on in pregnancy and quite often towards the end as well. In most cases it is simply just normal discharge, but if it is ever discolored, has an odor, causes any itching or burning, etc. have it checked out. Vaginal infections, especially yeast infections, can show up more in pregnancy.

I think the mucus plug looks like mucus with blood it it and it is GROSS! When I was in labor and I lost mine I told my mom it was the most DISGUSTING thing I've ever seen I was freaking out.. she said "don't worry by the time u give birth you'll see things more disgusting" I disagree.. its still the grossest thing I ever saw! Haha

O but your only 6 weeks its probably just weird pregnancy discharge lol
