Why is my featherlite weedeater is not priming the carborator? The primer bulb functions whenever the fuel supply line is disconnected. However, as soon as I hook it up to the carborator it will not push the fuel through the carboraror. I have weaved a wire through the inlet and there is no obstruction. Please advise.

Just on an outside guess I wonder if the carb is dirty and jammed up?

Does the prime bulb get hard quick when trying to prime?

Usually its easy to flood a carb over priming it.

Try priming it with the throttle wide open so carb is in different mode.
If that at all changes things then the carb may be the issue.
