Installing aftermarket radio in 1993 honda accord
I am installing an aftermarket radio in my 1993 honda accord. I bought the after market install kit but on the instructions the color codes for the wires don't match my factory wires. I got the rear speaker wires hooked up by looking in the trunk and seeing which color wires went to switch speakers. Where can I find a wiring diagram explaining what the color codes are for the factory wires? The wiring harness with the new radio is clearly marked but I need to make sure I am connecting to the right factory wire.

    KISS

You should have purchased a "harness kit" Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Audio, Home Theater, Speakers, Plasma TV may have them. You essentially plug into the factory radio harness and the wires a re brought out for you,

I have a friend who is a professional installer and the only thing he uses for installs are small din terminal strips with a wire protector which is hard to find.

A more time consuming way is to solder and heat shrink the connections to the atermarkert plug.

Electrical tape and wire nuts don't cut it.
