I had a old combination swicth go bad. The top switch turned on/off outdoor spotlight and the bottom switch turned on/off lights at the end of the driveway. The old switch was wired with a hot and neutral on top and just a hot on the bottom.

When I wired the new switch that way the top switch turned on both lights and the bottom switch did nothing. I t is a 2 pole switch.

What do I need to do to get both to work independently?

If the new switch came with wiring instructions, can you please paste a copy to this item?

If not, than please provide us with the manufacturer and model of the switch.
