We just recently bought a freezer (new to us). It is a Coronado (model 9321 type NFOAGO). We have plugged it in it has power, lights come on etc, and the compressor starts to hum, everything seems fairly normal except that it doesn't get cold. After 5 hours of it being on, set to the coldest setting, it did not drop tempature. I looked around the compressor and it seems as if everything is intact.

Any ideas?

The problem is very common with some freezers.
It has run out of GAS.
It must have a bit of a leak in the gas system.
Get a professional to re-gas it.
Saves you from a big investment in getting a new freezer.

Any idea as to how much this would cost? We only paid about $50 for the freezer LOL

Something like AUD $100.
$50 for the GAS, $ 50 for the call.
A new Frrezer the same as mine would send you back $1,000 if new.
The CAD figures are much the same only slightly cheaper.
