I think I screwd up. I took the injector out and put it in a cup of injector cleaner over night. Put it back in but I think I did something wrong. Went to start the car and now it puddles the carb with gas. What could I have done? Is there any photos any where that I can see how its put back together. I just wanted to eliminate the issue of my pipe getting red

There is nothing really wrong with the injector because it's older, the choke might be stuck and the engine is getting flooded. Or your floats are sticking and fuel is getting dumped into your intake making it run badly.

What exactly is your car doing? Is it sputtering? Does it run at all? Do the fumes smell like gas or does it smell like it's burning the gas cleanly?

See the original issue was the pipe coming from manifold to converter was getting cherry red and oil smells like gas. So I took injector out because it was spraying evenly. I put it back on but the car won't start because battery is low, but when I turn key over to start it the carb gets full of gas. I did find a plastic washer on the side of the motor. I wonder if that came from the fuel return line or fuel delivery because I took the whole top off. Had to disconnect the fuel lines. Could this be why I have a lot of fuel? But the car was running ruff to when you rev it it sputters
