    Partial Molar Pregnancy and miscarriage
I was 13 weeks pregnant and went for a routine OB visit
And Doc was unable to detect the babies heartbeat.
She sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound, where it was confirmed
That my baby had died. :(
The next day my OB told me the baby had passed at week 11 according
To what she saw on the ultrasound photos,
    And scheduled a D & C for a week later.
During the D & C I lost 2 liters of blood and was very close to needing
A blood transfusion. After the surgery my Doc explained that the baby
Died due to a Partial Molar Pregnancy, where 2 sperm formed with 1 of my eggs
And so many extra chromosones started to form with the fetus, and eventually
The baby died. She said there was a lot of extra placenta and other tissue growth
And that the normal 20 min. procedure got complicated and after 40 minutes
And exessive bleeding, she finally thinks she got everything out.
My hemoglobin was 12.5 before surgery and 9.5 the next day when I left the hospital.
It's been 2 weeks since and I am taking iron supp (ferrous sulfate 325 mg 3xday)
But today my hemoglobin is still only 9.3. Is is normal for it to take so long
For hemoglogin levels to get better? I feel so drained and tired all the time,
Get a little dizzy on and off and some shortness of breath. Doc is seeing me in a week
And doesn't seem overly concerned. Was also found to have several fibroid tumors
    As well.
Anyone have any info on Partial Molar Pregnancies and/or low hemoglobin levels?
Also, chances of having a healthy pregnancy in the future- does a Molar Pregnancy
Mean I may be prone to them?
    Thanks.
(always in my thoughts and heart baby Christian... )

Hey aww I'm so sorry about your baby that's horrible, I had 2 misscarages so I'm know the feeling. But your HCG levels usually take 2 or three weeks to go down. There could be some pregnancy tissue left even after your D&C which would do that to you. Good luck
