Mi amiga estaba jugando en el trabajo

If it's a man:

Mi amigo estaba juando en el trabajo

Unfortunately I'm going to have to disagree with your translation. What your saying is my friend is playing around at work [your literally saying he is playing around, i.e. objects, furniture etc.]

That's the translation on Microsoft. En que otra manera lo puedes decir porque el tuyo tambien dice jugando

Besides you can say other words like:

Mi amigo/amiga estaba neciando en el trabajo

OR

Mi amigo/amiga estaba de loco/loca en el trabajo
