When you get married how fast do you have to change your name on everything to your new marriage name. Can you get in trouble if you keep your maiden name on some things.

You can continue to use your maiden name as long as you want.

As noted you do not have to "change" you name at all if you don't want to. But once you start changing, you need to change it.
