    While we use 30/40 mil Blue Compiseal as a shower liner 40 mil Epdm is acceptable. Let me give you a few tips I picked on the web about panning and setting a custom tile shower base, Click on; http://johnbridge.com/mortar_bed_shower_floor.htm
