    HI,
I want to apply for Canadian citizenship.I have been in US from June 2007. Can anyone suggest me how to apply for it? I have not visited Canada. But my aunt stays there.

Your aunt can sponsor you if she qualifies.

You can also ask for a visa if you have any skills.

You can also come here for schooling and come with a student visa.

Here's a website to help you get more information:

To clarify, your aunt can sponsor you only if you are UNDER 18 years old. You can only sponsor direct family (parents or children) if they are over 18 years old.

But you can still consider the other categories (skilled worker or student visa) and because you have family in Canada that will give you extra points towards your consideration.

Finally please note you must apply for permanent residence before you can apply for citizenship (permanent residence is like a green card in the USA) it will help to know the exact terminology when reading through your options on the website mudweiser posted.
