    Lived in 2 states
I lived in Wisconsin from Jan 1, 2008 until June 14,2008 when I moved to Indiana. I am currently a resident of Indiana. I was a resident of both states for the 2008 year. I need to know what forms to fill out for my state taxes and where to get them. I'd appreaciate any help!

First complete the WI income tax form as a part-year resident, then complete the IN form as a part-year resident. In essence you will be taxed by WI for your income during the time you were resident there, and by IN for your income during the time you were resident in IN. I am assuming here that while you lived in WI you had no out-of-state income (that is you weren't working in IN while living in WI), and some for your time in IN, right?

Yes, that is correct. I did not have any out-of state income while residing in Indiana or Wisconsin.

Is there a special form for a part year resident? Or do I just fill out the same forms that a full year resident would?

    Thank you

A quick Google search yields the following:

For WI use form 1NPR. You can get forms and instructions here:

    For Indiana use IT-40PNR:
