    Judgement in Florida
Can an attorney garnish rent on a property in Florida that has a mortgage?

    Thanks

    Hello e:

If he can get the tenant to give it to him, I guess he could.

First an attorney does not "garnish" the court has to issue a court order for a garnishment.

If the court would issue a order to the renter to pay money to the court, the tennent would have no choice.

But I have never heard of that before ever happening

You are saying he can go to any tenant and just ask for the money? That does not make sense or better yet does not seem legal.
