Hi,
I remember seeing this movie as a child and am sure it was in the 80's.
I am 90% sure it was not Stepford Wives but it was a community of families/people where the woman have been cloned as cyborgs/robots.
They slowly begin to be uncovered as fakes and some even malfunction, repeating their words and get stuck... like when a tape recording sticks.
The robots are pleasant on the outside but are there for a reason. I get this film mixed up with the henderson kids (How I don't know) But I don't know if there is a connection?
Am pretty sure it is not the stepford wives but soemthing extremely similar, though this film actually showed the robots malfunction.
I think one character even fights with one of the woman robots causing her to break. I think I remember seeing the robots moulds in the film to.
Anyone possibly help? Or am I crazy?
