This cartoon movie was on when I was little. Probably around early to mid 1980's.. my grandparents had it on VHS, so I don't know if it was Disney or not... The plot was something about a Greek God (maybe Zeus shooting lightning bolts at them) and these two funny characters had to complete a series of tasks. I think one was that he had to go into a temple of some sort, and he came out like a bird... there were several missions that they had to complete in order to either become a god or win something... sound familiar? The characters had funny names, and I loved it... I have been thinking of it for a while now (like years) and can't remember the name... please help!!

Asterix

Oh my... I am looking for the same movie title... why does nobody remember this cartoon... I think one scene involved the two characters trying to deliver a letter and they keep getting sent to different floors and rooms of a large building.

Asterix looks very very similar except it was in English and was a movie... it seems like a large guy and a short guy... both seemed to be greek and had multiple tasks and seems as if the goal was to not go mad
