I'm thoroughly confused as to how you think the President is going to assist you.
In most cases, you either need to catch up on your mortgage or set up a payment plan with the lending company to catch up over X amount of months; they usually write into the agreement that if you default, they'll go back to court.
First who is the squatters, are there someone else living on the property that are there illegally that are claiming part of it.
After they are there for I believe 15 years they may have some claim but have to meet many other issues.
This does not apply to a perosn who is renting or buying property.
I could make some remarks on political people, but if you are current with your mortgage, and this is a federal lender you can see about having the interest rate lowered.
If you are behind in payments, or can't make the payments with lower interest any new program is not going to help you.
