Hi there!!

I'm an F-1 student currently in OPT status in USA, I've few questions regarding the OPT rules and regulations as follows..

1. I'm supposed to apply for an H1B visa which is due this April 2009, I decided rather than to file H1B this year I wish to file it on 2010 April while continuing in my current OPT status which has 27 months validity(My OPT started 2008 October)..
Note: I've heard that if I don't file my H1B this year I'll not be eligible for an OPT extension(which is due this October) is that TRUE??

2. Well, this question might sound bit absurd but I just started thinking on a global arena please try to answer this... Is there any way that I could apply for an Australian PR since I spent 2 and half years as F-1 student in US, if there is a way please guide me through the steps to accomplish that... Hope for a reply soon
