Who are you referring to? A family member? A friend? A significant other? An ex? What means something to you might not mean the same thing to someone else. I agree with Historian Chick though. More background information would help.

Yes it means something, that's how you feel. That doesn't mean they feel the same though.

Of course, it means you feel for them as a person
