    Honest Opinions on weight
    Hello everyone,

First of all I'll keep this brief. Im a 19yo male. 6'3ft/191cm. About a year ago I started obbessesing over my weight, I'm currently 75Kg.

This all started really when I signed up for the armed forces, in which I'll be leaving to very soon. I don't want to join looking like a bag of potatoes and be the laugh of my troop! I run 6 days a week 3 miles a day and there isn't any difference but anyway I would like some honest opinions.

You look like you are in great shape and are healthy. Don't obsess over weight. What branch of the armed forces are you joining?

if you're 6ft 3in tall then 75kg is definitely a good weight for you. If you are become underweight, you'll be weak and won't do as well in the force, and u'll still get laughed at if that's what you're afraid of. Instead of running 6 times a week, make it 3 and then do weights, it'll help you gain muscle and burn fat simultaneously. ^_^ hope this helped

You are fit. No need to lose weight.

Id cycle between endurance training and power training. Cross train. Don't do the same run all the time. Some days longer... some days sprints/stairs. Confuse your body.

Id focus on your core. Back strength. Stomach. Pilates rocks... even if its taught often by 5 ft tall girls with tight butts and abs. they are the devils doing. I have a trainer come to my home twice a week and she can make me cry like a baby. Evil wench. ;) and I pay her for it.

Know your weak points. I have wide, well defined shoulders visually, but they are weak. I have to really push myself to gain strength there... whereas my quads are big and naturally strong. So figure out where you are weakest. Overhead workouts are mine. My lungs are OK, but not great. I have to always work on my flexibility. Stairs are good for me.

So... don't worry about your frame. You are fit enough looking.

Time for you to find where you will struggle and to engage that.

Pro athletes cross train for a reason. You need to confuse your body. Hit it from different angles.

Congrads on your decision to step up and serve.
