How to combat a default judgement while I presented my motion to dismiss in a civil c
I recently went to court with my motion to dismiss, filed on time, I was Pro Se, this was a hearing and the other attorney turned it into a trial and got his default. What are my options at this point? Please advise.

I think your time to protest has passed. If there was a serious breach of practice/procedure/statute AND more time, another hearing would have made a difference, file an appeal. If, on the other hand, you had to defense I don't see the point in arguing any further.
