Why not? Being in jail doesn't preclude signing legal documents or being tested for anything.

Get in touch with a family law attorney. Assuming this is paternity issue.
If not, then you should be in touch with the attorney that is handling the case.
No one in the jail WILL help you. They have no reason to. You need to have an attorney get a court order to provide access to a testing firm.

Probably. Check with an attorney to be certain. You may have to wait until they're released, then have them served with an order to take a DNA test.
You cannot force someone to sign a birth certificate... period... but you can ask for an DNA test... in most prison systems... prisoners DNA are collected and placed in their record... contact a lawyer to get this done... are you looking for child support from a man in prison... rethink this action...
Yes I believe you can I think it depends on the state you are in,some states you might need a judgeses orderQuote:

As far as the birth papers go, I had a baby with a man who ended up in Fed prison (big mistake by the way)-we were not married, so I sent him affidavit papers and all he had to do was get it signed and notarized and sent it back to me and then I took care of the rest.
Why not this can be done in jail too.
