Just put a 14.5 B&S on a riding mower.
Runs with starting fluid/carb added gas.
Looking over carb see wire on bowl?:confused::
Have done far amount of work on smaller motors first one with this carb.
How do I get the gas to flow?
New gas line and filter.

That wire on the bottom of the bowl should have current going to it when the key is on. That is a valve that stops the gas from going through the carb and helps it not to backfire when you stop the engine. If you don't have current to it you will have to try to figure out why. Safety switches are usually the culprit. The seat will have to be pressed down, the deck arm will have to be up etc...
