I've got this movie running through my head begging to be watched again but I can't seem to remember what its called. It's a movie about a political election where the man running for office has insomnia. Other than that all I can remember is that it's a comedy and he passes out after winning the election.

If by insomnia you mean he is paranoid and can't sleep because he takes a hit out on himself(which I think is what you are talking about) then the movie is Bullworth. And yes its funny as hell.
