Honda Civic, really rough idle vibrations.
I have a 1990 Honda Civic,I just did a complete tune-up, wires, plugs, filters, the whole 9 yards. I have even had to change the distributor as the previous owner rigged it in order to sell it, and 4 months after buying it, it would'nt fire, found the incorrect screws in stuck to the magneto, left as shavings. When the car is cold, I have no issues with it, but once it has had time to warm up... When ever I pull up to a stop Light or Stop sign, if I do not put the car into park, it has a really rough vibration, and my idle sits at about 550-600 whenever I am in gear and not moving. If I give the car a little gas the vibration disapears. However it's a really rough annoying vibration, shakes the whole body, and makes everything on the dash vibrate. I was thinking tranny mount, but if that were the case, it would do it even cold... I am now thinking maybe compression or something?? Any help would be appreciated. :) thanks!

Have the fuel injection system checked. When the engine is cold, the ECM adds fuel to the mixture. Once the engine is warmed up sufficiantly, fuel is returned to normal trim.
This might be a good time to have the throttle body and upper intake de-carboned with a professional cleaning.

All right, and what kind of mechanic shop might do this kind of work, also is this something one can do themselves... if so how may this be done? Thanks

All right, I just found out my complete exhaust system is bad, would that cause it due to backflow?
