Hi.. I was supposed to have my periods on 23-24th of feb.. but I did have very light bleeding on 26th eve.. it stayed on till 28th eve.. then it stopped... I'm usually very regular and have 4-5 days of period.. this time it was very light and was more of a brown color than red... my nipples felt sore for a few days, gassy... and have low abdominal cramps that has been present for a few weeks now.. I still have cramps.. light ones... I did a hpt on 2 march but it turned out negative.. could I be pregnant or is it just my pms... please help...

Pregnant "symptoms" are not reliable.

Hpt can throw false negatives, or be right. Test first thing in the morning, when hormone levels would be most concentrated, if present.

Wish we could correctly diagnose you. These kinds of questions get asked daily. Id make a ton of money if I could accurately say "yes" or "no"... based solely on posted descriptions.

So, you have to wait and test. Period. You can talk to a health care provider about a blood test, if you wish. But ultimately, only time and testing will give you an answer that is reliable.

Wish we could diagnose based on "symptoms" alone. It is not possible. Period.

There should be a sticky on here, and maybe there is- I'm not sure, but one that says something like "If you need to know if you're for sure pregnant or not go see your doctor." There are so many symptoms that are the same for PMS or being pregnant.
